Tasneem Chopra OAM

Somewhere between introvert and Diva, Tasneem Chopra manages a Cross-cultural Consultancy, a smattering of board positions, a part-time adviser role, 3 kids, 2 cats and a podcast. As a self described Professional Disruptor, she’s all about making a noise on things leadership, intersectionality, feminism and diversity. She brings lived experience, insights and sector knowledge to the table and is not afraid to use them to effect change. Tasneem is a former ‘Anti-Racism Champion’ of the Australian Human Rights Commission, was the inaugural Ambassador for Women of Colour, Australia and earned an OAM in 2020. But her fondest accolade was winning ‘Best Dwarf’ as an exemplar Dopey, aged 6, at the Alice Springs Easter parade. As a fourth generation East African born, Indian origin, raised in country Victoria all-rounder, Tasneem is unapologetic about her hyphens, leanings and turbans.
