John Sitilides

John Sitilides is a Washington D.C. geopolitical risk specialist and Senior Fellow for National Security at the Foreign Policy Research Institute, engaging and informing investor, corporate, government, and civic leadership audiences on global risk trends, international threat assessments, and geopolitical strategies. He launched and directed two international relations institutes, including at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. From 2006-2023, he served as a Diplomacy Consultant to the U.S. Department of State. He launched his career in the U.S. Senate, has testified before Congress, and is a frequent national security commentator on Bloomberg News and other U.S. and international media. He holds a Master’s Degree in International Affairs, specializing in International Security Policy, from the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs.
