Azelene Williams

Azelene is an engaging presenter. Throughout Azelene’s sessions, she draws on her personal experience as a survivor of intimate partner violence as a teenager. In her lived experience presentations and workshops, she discusses key concepts and theories and connects them to her lived experience. She is a passionate advocate and talks about topics including, but is not limited to: 1. Surviving a Teen Intimate Partner Relationship. 2. She talks about the dangers of Vaping and how she dealt with trauma from her past and how that connected with her addictive personality that led her on a path of self-destruction for many years. In the last 18 months, she has spoken to over 111,000 students about vaping. 3. Overcoming Dyslexia and completing a degree during COVID in 2020. All talks and presentations conclude with open question time, during which the audience has the opportunity and is encouraged to ask questions that will assist them in further understanding intimate partner violence.
